Linda initiated the art group, Redder Splash! after her studies at Camberwell Art School. The original idea was to get some teaching practice by gathering friends who had said they wanted to have more practice of making art works. The group quickly showed that it had a dynamic force of its own and Linda wanted to be a part of the group instead of a “teacher”. She saw that each of the members had something valuable to share with the rest, and has always felt privileged to be part of the group.
Linda studied fine art at Camberwell and gained an M.A. at Goldsmiths. She works in various media – painting, sculpture, print, works on paper and medals. Her main area of interest is the human form and its relation with anomalies of language and with art history.
She has works in the collections of the British Museum, V & A and the Goldsmiths Company as well as abroad in the Berlin Staatliche Museum and in the National Museum, Warsaw. Her work has been shown throughout the world in group shows in China, Hong Kong, Korea and the U.S. as well as in Europe and G.B. Her medals are currently (2021 – 23) in a British Museum/La Caixa touring exhibition of five cities in Spain.
