I am mostly drawing in ink, pen and wash at the moment. I like the lightness and fluidity of inks, as a way of trying to capture figures in movement.
Over the decades, Redder Splash has pushed me into various semi-serious obsessions, including carving and lettering in stone, wood carving, and nearly a decade attending Chrys Allen’s life drawing workshops.
Redder Splash’s virtual reunion since the beginning of the 2020 lockdown has been a fantastic inspiration to start drawing again.
